This yoga practice is suited to soldiers and yoga practitioners aiming to build strength, flexibility, elasticity, mindfulness in daily life. Featuring service members of a military special forces led by Mr. Liz Koinin who was a 13-year old soldier and former Navy F-18 pilot, this sequence was created by Gaiam as part of the Yoga Readiness Initiative of Give Back Yoga Foundation It was. This project brings free yoga field kits to active soldiers who provide powerful, practicing people, who provide strength, elasticity, and inner peace.
While practicing with astronauts' schools and aircraft carriers, Rizikowin practiced yoga and meditation. In free time she began teaching other service members including special operation units. As a result, a new career as a global yoga / instructor was born. She has taught countless yoga classes in Europe and America, including customized classes for service members previously deployed in the Middle East at the Warrior Transition Program in Germany.
Here's an explanation of Liz's way of teaching yoga to active duty members.
"Four years ago, the carrier US Truman, I began sharing my yoga practice with my fellow service members. One year later, I collaborated with my teacher Ann Richardson with a large army class One morning, a navy seal team was lying on Matt and his fellow "Frogman" was walking in the past. When asked if his teammate wanted to participate, he gave a typical carnivorous response ... "Yoga? Yes, that is true." Usually we do not recommend trying to call a navyseal after being exaggerated for morning training normally. But as he walked down, my smart mouth went away from me. I asked, "are you afraid of the big guy?" There is no answer.
For a while, I wanted to withdraw my words and return it to my lips. "It was not Josiek Liz too much." I thought to myself. But then I recognized that it was a question to be asked, but not only his question to answer. I had to ask myself what he was afraid of. Perhaps you can find a way to forgive this fear? There is no navy seal now, but as a service member of a fellow, I understood the fear of his speed reduction. I understood his fear of abandoning stress and strength, it was his protection. It kept his nervous system at high alertness. Elements of fighting and flying strongly in the categories of battles he was required to safely carry out his work. But perhaps, perhaps I can lag behind him, breathe softly and guide me to move with another kind of intention. A place of balance.
At that moment, I noticed that my call was to find a way to share the benefits of yoga change with this community. We call yoga to serve others. Whatever the way, we will lead to most people. Our time, our energy, our understanding, and unconditionally give our love. However, to do this, we must continue to foster our own warrior spirit. Discipline. Pious. Love. These are preparing us strongly as spiritually strong warriors so we can instigate our own flames to give our own higher purpose.
